Sunday Sessions

I dusted off my instax mini today for some Sunday instant camera shooting. We had breakfast, went to the National Gallery of Victoria for the Vienna exhibition, had a coffee then tottered off home to blog all about it. 

Flower Bomb

I went to hanami on the weekend to sit under the cherry trees, drink sake, eat rice balls & reminisce about my time living in Japan. Sadly, most of the cherry blossoms had already bloomed but still the air was clean, nature was all around and the kawaii factor was on major overdrive.

I went along to Doll Face  - the gala launch party of Full-skirted Productions & shot some snaps for the online mag laneway magazine. I felt like I'd stepped back into 1949 when Lady Diamond, a burlesque performer, got on stage.

Secret Animal Realms

A friend and I were at the gallery for a lecture and we stumbled upon this exhibition - Secret Animal Realms by Tasmanian textile artist Cat Rabbit. Don't you think these creatures secretly come out at night and have a raging party when the final light is switched off & Cat Rabbit goes home to bed?... I do...
