Poolside

Tomorrow I am shooting a very special poolside glamour show for Camilla's bright and cheerful summer collection. I saw the collection earlier this year at Australian Fashion Week, but still quite excited to see the pieces in their natural habitat....let's hope the thunder storm holds off...

Oh and mental note (mental because it's driving me mental) this post may look a little bit weird... blogger is playing up so I've had to resort to the old way of posting circa 1999.

Media Pass ! ! !

A pretty medium sized purple envelope arrived in our mail box a couple of days ago. Long behold it's my shiny media pass for Melbourne Spring Fashion Week! Oo la la darlings! The Designer Series shows kick off tomorrow night 6:30pm and 8:30pm - fingers crossed for backstage access so I can use my awesome new light diffuser * . 

*Uh oh, I'm turning into one of those photographic nerds who gets her jollies over camera attachments.

Claire Inc. opening night at Alice Euphemia

I tottered down to Alice Euphemia tonight for some vintage 80's & 90's glory & a glass of vino. Plenty of fashionable folk and some lovely shots were taken :)

and then I oohhed and ahhed over these origami necklaces from CT Designs (which I think is Claire Taylor,  correct me if I'm wrong) I think I have to save my pennies for one

Oh yes yum. Finished with tofu at the tofu shop on bridge road 

Fashion + Tofu ÷ photography = pleasure

nerd fact : while googling for the "÷" ( I couldn't find it on my keyboard)  I discovered that it is actually called an obelus and was first used as a division symbol in 1659. Amazing.
