I heart you NZ

I just got back from a trip to New Zealand for a friend's wedding. When I go home, I usually spend most of my time in Christchurch or Kaiteriteri but this time I was lucky enough to venture north to Tauranga & Mount Maunganui. What a beautiful part of the world this is. I heart you NZ.

Summer Days

It's been scorching hot here in Melbourne for the past few days and to me, hot means beach so today me and my pal drove over to Edithvale for a swim and some sun. We loved the little beach boxes that lined the shore and the water was so crisp and clear, what a perfect way to spend the day.

wildflowers, seashells and ocean swims

Well, it's the first post for 2013. While I've been a bit slack with posting in 2012 I thought I'd kick off the new year with a post of my summer holiday in New Zealand. Each year when I was a kid my family and I would head up from Christchurch to Kaiteriteri. Now Mum and Dad have a batch in Little Kaiteriteri and the tradition lives on. I love summer in NZ, spending my days going for bush walks, eating fresh mussels from the sea, picking wildflowers, collecting shells and swimming in the ocean...

Eden

Breathing in the country air and squishing my toes in the sand at Eden
